El dictador Francisco Franco, muerto hace más de cuatro décadas, sigue siendo un gran protagonista de la política española. Su exhumación del Valle de los Caídos, al que compartió con sus víctimas, no puso punto final a las iniciativas que, según sus autores, buscan restablecer la justicia histórica.
Algunas de las propuestas resultan ser bastante cuestionables, como es la intención del Gobierno de incorporar al Código Penal un delito de apología o exaltación del franquismo.
Esta opinión es compartida por el historiador español Daniel Trujillo Sanz, quien dijo a Radio Sputnik que la medida podría "dar pie y abrir la puerta a un futuro de aguas turbulentas" en cuanto a la libertad de pensamiento y expresión.
"Asimismo, expresó sus dudas de que se pueda hacer desaparecer al franquismo de la sociedad española, algo "tan fraguado en el tiempo" y "transmitido socialmente de familia en familia".
En este contexto, citó el caso de Alemania, donde hay unas leyes duras sobre el nazismo.
"No obstante, semana tras semana, vemos noticias sobre movimientos neonazis, incluso en las fuerzas de seguridad, y partidos que no andan muy lejos de esa ideología que siguen ganando fuerza. Allí esas leyes no han logrado erradicar ese pensamiento, lo cual es imposible hacer desde el punto de vista penal. En España pienso que pueda suceder exactamente lo mismo", apuntó Daniel Trujillo Sanz.
